Due to government regulations in Ireland, which state that no non-residents can visit offshore islands until phase 5, Chleire Haven will only be open from 10th August to mid October 2020. We will only be accommodating 2 yurts at a time with max 6 from one single household (no groups of friends or families)
Which means that unfortunately we cannot offer bell tents this year and can allow NO campers to stay, as we will be giving our customers a bathroom each to avoid cross contamination.
We will be erecting 4 yurts, but only using 2 at a time, so that there can be a deep clean and 72 hours left between people staying in yurts.
Other measures are also in place to afford security from cross contamination.

Glamping on Cape
Clear Island
is a unique,
peaceful and adventurous
opportunity to leave the mainland
and your worries behind. Being
Ireland'smost southerly Irish
speaking inhabited island, situated
some 8 miles off the coast of West
Cork, makes Cape a pretty special
place for your holiday.

Take the 45 minute ferry trip from Baltimore
and relax amongst the romantic scenery, while
absorbing the tranquil beauty of the island,
with its rolling hills and shimmering harbours.
The ever changing colours of the hillsides,
where wild flowers mix with yellows and
purples of gorse and heather, turning to
the rich autumn gold of bracken.

Why not enjoy this magical island
with one of our Mongolian
as your home, cosy,
comfortable and warm,
Glamping at its best!
